The Exhibit
Glenn McDaniel creates art to promote peace, love, and understanding. Inspired by spirituality and a vision of a world without war, hunger, or greed, he believes art can inspire positive change and contribute to a better world.
Photography serves as the foundation of McDaniel’s creative process. He combines digital programs and editing applications to transform his photographs into painterly images while maintaining a consistent visual language throughout his work. Drawn to the unique qualities of rain, fog, and nighttime light, he seeks to capture street scenes that feel spontaneous and authentic while working within an overarching vision.
Nature is McDaniel’s greatest source of inspiration. Although he frequently photographs architecture, he views the built environment as an extension of nature. Much of his work begins with careful observation, often returning to a scene at the exact time of day he has envisioned. While he enters each project with a clear idea of the finished piece, he remains open to the unexpected moments that emerge throughout the creative process.
