Whether new to crafting or looking to expand their skills, this class is fun for young creatives looking to make art to wear or share. Seasoned instructor Toby Penney will guide students through the process of creating unique and meaningful pieces, using a variety of materials and techniques.

Here’s what will be offered:

  • The essential materials and tools for crafting wearable art
  • Techniques like assemblage, press molding, and cold connections
  • How to mix materials like wood, polymer clay, metal, and paper
  • Step-by-step methods for creating beads, pendants, and components
  • Tips for designing and constructing pieces that are both personal and wearable

By the end of the series, participants will have created a collection of beautiful, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and gained the confidence to continue making wearable art.

We’ll provide all the materials you need, but you’re welcome to bring along:

  • Small personal items like fabrics, charms, buttons, or baubles to incorporate into your art
  • Snacks and drinks
  • A sketchbook, if you like
  • Wear clothes that can get painty!

Join us for this engaging and imaginative class series and discover the joy of creating wearable art!
