Kathleen Davis’ Bio:

You might’ve seen Kathleen Davis hosting events around Lynchburg since her move in 2020, but this show? This show, she’s back where she belongs—doing stand-up. Kathleen has been making audiences laugh since her days in Atlanta’s comedy scene, where she spent over a decade performing at iconic spots like Relapse Theatre and The Laughing Skull. Her routine combines an eye for the absurd and a talent for storytelling. Expect plenty of wit, a few questionable life choices, and relatable humor.

Neal Tosi’s Bio:

Neal grew up in the theaters of Lynchburg, VA, where he first caught the performing bug. He took his passion for comedy to Chicago, training and performing in one of the country’s top improv scenes before bringing that experience back home. Now, he’s the driving force behind Hill City Improv, working to build a thriving arts community in Lynchburg. Most recently, he hit the stage in Wolfbane’s “Clue”, and he’s on a mission to make his hometown a little funnier—one punchline at a time.

Anthony Johnson’s Bio:

Anthony “Train” Johnson is a Central Virginia native whose material and personality have amassed a broad and devoted fan base that is as diverse as his material. Train has over 130 stand-up appearances under his belt and is one of Central Virginia’s most consistent entertainers. Train’s versatile 10 year career in the entertainment industry also includes sharing his talents in stage productions and doing public speaking engagements. With a near-death experience in 2023, Train has an amazing story to tell with laughs, love and original comedy. Climb aboard and enjoy the ride!

Josh Cline’s Bio:

Josh Cline has been around the Central Virginia area for the past 10 years but he’s been keeping his stand-up talent hidden from Lynchburg. Josh began doing stand-up in clubs while in college in the Miami area. After college he moved on to become part of a performing arts group that did shows around Charlotte. Josh has been waiting for the right time to re-emerge onto the comedy scene and is excited to bring his “class clown since kindergarten” style of comedy to the Downtown Comedy Club. Josh brings a bit of witty sarcasm to the stage and wants us all to laugh a little because “life’s tough enough, let’s add a little humor to the mix.”

Luke Chapman’s Bio:

“Hi I am Luke Chapman! I am from Charlottesville, but grew up right here in Lynchburg. I have been doing standup for about a year now and love performing at local open mics at the White Hart and Randolph College. I’ve even taken my sets out of state on occasion and hope to get more opportunities to perform. I love doing standup and seeing people laugh while on stage.”
