Teen Pottery Camp 4
This hands-on camp is perfect for pre-teens and teens who want to explore creativity and build skills in the ceramics studio. Throughout the week, students will learn the fundamentals of pottery while creating their own functional and decorative pieces.
-
Monday–Wednesday: Focus on wheel throwing techniques, including centering, shaping, and forming a variety of pieces on the pottery wheel.
-
Thursday: Trim and finish work, add handles, and explore surface design through appliqué and decorative details.
-
Friday: A painting and decorating extravaganza—students will use colored slip and personalize their creations with color and finishing touches.
Students can expect to create 8–12 pieces over the course of the week.
All work will be glazed and kiln-fired after the camp session and will be ready for pick-up in approximately two weeks. You will receive an email notification with details when your child’s work is ready.
No prior experience is necessary—just come ready to get creative and have fun!
