Average Theatrical Performance with Discount
Please note that no additional staff are included in this rate, besides the 1 production staff member overseeing load-in.

Average Theatrical Performance without Discount
Please note that no additional staff are included in this rate, besides the 1 production staff member overseeing load-in.
Production will assist in running what was set up during load in (a general purpose tech that can act as a light board operator/projectionist, stagehand, or run music playback).
If the complexity of the performance warrants a second stagehand (e.g. there are many lighting, music, and projection cues) then that will be an additional $15 an hour with 4-hour minimums. This does not include the work of a lighting designer or sound engineer. See the rates above.

Save with Performance Discounts in the Historic Theatre
Performance rates are available to organizations that join our ACOA Performace program, or that are resident companies of ACOA. HT base rates are charged per day, and include FOH when necessary. Production is charged at an additional rate based on availability.
Resident Structure:
$1,200 base rate per day
- Suggested production schedule: 5 hours of consultation prior to load-in (at least 2 production meetings with sound/lighting engineers and stage manager)
- Load-in day/ production is not charged, only base rate
- Production charge at cost per hour for the duration of the rental (rates available through contract)
Performance Partner Structure:
$1,500 base rate per day
- Must complete certification training at a rate of $500 per year
- Suggested production schedule: 1 hour of consultation prior load-in
- Load-in day production available/ included in base cost
- Production charge at cost per hour for the duration of the rental (rates available through contract)
- 10% ticket sales per performance
