What’s your favorite thing about working at the Academy?:

My favorite thing about working at the Academy is knowing that I play a small part in an organization that showcases the very best of the Lynchburg region. It’s a place that focuses on inspiring creativity, building connections, showcasing stellar talent, and creating opportunities for people who might not otherwise have access to the arts. Being part of that mission, and seeing its impact across our community, is incredibly rewarding for me.  

What’s your favorite season of the year and why?:

My favorite season is FALL! I love the crisp mornings, warm afternoons, and cool evenings. You can visit the beach in September when the water is still warm, watch the leaves change and create natural beauty everywhere you look, and possibly catch an early snowfall…IF we’re lucky! Fall is also the perfect time to travel; less crowded and usually more affordable. Fall is the best of every season all wrapped into one. And it’s football season—Go Birds! #PhillyPhanatic
