Behind the Curtain : Costume & Prop Camp

Step into the world of backstage magic in this hands-on costume and prop design camp! Students will learn the fundamentals of costume construction, explore how costumes support character and storytelling, and create their own costume pieces from concept to completion. Campers will also design and build props to coordinate with their costumes, gaining a well-rounded understanding of visual storytelling on stage. Basic sewing skills will be introduced, and students are encouraged to bring a sewing machine if they have one (a limited number will be available to share), along with scissors and a creative spirit!
