The Art of Filmmaking

This 8-week course is a deep dive into the art of filmmaking. Starting with the basics we’ll be working through visual storytelling from scriptwriting to editing and everything in between. Guest lecturers will be joining throughout the course to teach on their areas of expertise and there will be lots of hands-on learning. Each week we will be taking on a new task and putting those lessons into practice. The series will finish with a showcase of our short films.

  • Producing a Film
  • How to Write a Script
  • Directing and Casting
  • Making the Perfect Shot
  • Editing a Short Film

This class is ideal for individuals who have an interest in pursuing film as a career and who have a camera (iPhone is suitable) and a laptop.
